Audience:
This training has been created for university professors and staff.
Business Problem:
Growth was not being made at a rate the university preferred. This was proven to be due to a fixed mindset of employees.
Solution:
Teach growth mindset to help in teams and all aspects throughout the university.
Highlights:
This training is a quick 20 minute introduction to growth Mindset. It is set up to be a hybrid course (some learners in person and some online). The course includes interactive elements- mentimeter questions, padlet interactivity, and scenario based group work.
Process:
The main process used for creating this training was the ADDIE method. After analyzing and figuring out the problem and what was needed for the solution, the course was planned using a VILT Design Document. Then it was developed using Canva and Google Slides. After the implementation of the training, I would evaluate the learning by using-
Kirkpatrick's level 2 of evaluation- This consists of a 5 question quiz at the end of the course. The passing rate is 80% and uses scenario based questions of some decisions learners will encounter in daily life.
Kirkpatrick's level 3 of evaluation- This would consist of a survey analysis of employees 3-6 months after the training.
Tools used:
Canva, Google Slides, Google docs, Mentimeter, Padlet
